I just released Awilix v8 which renames `awilix.module.js` to `awilix.module.mjs`.
@jclaessens97 your issue seems to be due to trying to load `.ts` files in tests and your runner isn't configured to transpile them.
I have the same issue, Safari isn't emitting changes, I'm on the latest and greatest version of this package. `react-date-picker` has the same problem.

Not with the current capture backend. I'm also not actively working on the project anymore as I switched to Mac.
@lukescott @cztomsik I think always wrapping in a function makes sense, to avoid confusion. Existing libs shouldn't be hard to fix?
I have 2 production app's that are heavily powered by custom decorators, so I know for a fact that it won't be difficult.
