git-fat --version?

We would like to track the versions of git-fat, but I can't seem to find a version reference. There is one reference to an environment variable GIT_FAT_VERSION.

The environment variable GIT_FAT_VERSION is referring to the format of the placeholders for fat files. It exists for debugging/testing purposes, not for general use.
