blog/single.html contains hard-wired box

blog/single.html contains a box which talks about "Redactor, Grafs and Kube". I can obviously delete this, but I feel like this shouldn't be in the theme if it's for general use?

There are a lot of things that come with the default template that are like this.

• Index
• Footer
• Blog
• etc

This is because the theme itself isn't meant to be directly used like other themes, it exists to be a median between rookie and pro.

see the faq where they explain who it is aimed at.

You are supposed to override the layouts to make the site your own. In your scenario:

• Create the file my-site/layouts/blog/single.html.
• Copy the contents of my-site/themes/layouts/blog/single.html into the new file
• Remove the "subscribe" html

I did the same thing for my website.
