Use this integration or github.com/absalom-muc?

I currently have two MHI aircons. Both are integrated into HA using an ESP running github.com/absalom-muc. I would like to add two new MHI aircons to my house and learnt that new MHI devices have WIFI adapters already built-in.

I assume this integration (Mitsubishi-WF-RAC-Integration) uses these WIFI adapters to control the aircons.

Can someone confirm that one can simply unplug the internal WIFI adapter and use the ESP solution instead (assuming the internal adapter uses the same CNS interface)?
