open-remote-ssh stopped working: Error running command openremotessh.explorer

the ext run flawless for a long time and stopped working 2 days ago:

Error running command openremotessh.explorer.refresh: command 'openremotessh.explorer.refresh' not found. This is likely caused by the extension that contributes openremotessh.explorer.refresh.

codium 1.84.1 (2) extension 0.0.45/0.0.44 debian: 12 - bookworm

I moved the .vscode-oss out of the way and made an pristine install, same results.

tested with codium: 1.84.1 & 1.84.2 cli-ssh itself works as always.

any hints?

Do you see the extension actually running? Run Developer: Show Running Extensions image
