Usage behind proxy

Didn't have a chance to test it yet and I'm not firm with rust to find the right line of code.

Is it using curl or wget to get the files or some rust native way? If its some native way does it consume HTTP_PROXY env variable?

Reason for asking that I'm behind a corporate firewall and need to have some way to utilize a proxy with the tool. Asdf for example uses curl and there for can be configured with ~/.curlrc

neither asdf nor rtx make http calls (save for a couple of things that aren't relevant here like self-update). That's done in plugins which are identical in asdf and rtx and will behave the same.
