Cloze support?
Describe the solution you'd like I'd like to see cloze support. That is, I'd like to be able to add text (either English or Chinese) to a field and be able to "cloze" certain parts of that text.
Is this possible with the Chinese (Ruby) or other Chinese note types?
In general you can only make clozes on the Anki built-in Cloze note type or a note type cloned from Cloze (which can be changed after cloning): https://apps.ankiweb.net/docs/manual.html#cloze-deletion.

Robert is correct. A new note type would be required for this.
It's a possibility in the future.
