Current draw?

Open RChadwick7 opened this issue 1 year ago • 2 comments

I thought this would be an obvious question, especially considering this could be a replacement for a PIR device. What is the average current draw at 3.3V? Can it compete with PIR?

I've found it to use 70-80mA at 5V. At 3.3V the device won't function as it should (keeps triggering without movement). Quite normal as the datasheet says it needs 4-18v...

It can't compete with PIR. PIR sensors are much more efficient.
