The use of alternative filters needs some modifications in the current code. For instance, we assume now that the filters are symmetric (+ asymmetric filters at the ends of the series). The problem has already been partly explored for seasonal filters. Further modifications are needed, especially for the trend filters. Workload: 20 days (outside the design of the new filters). A graphical interface should also be provided to deal with those new filters. Additional workload: 20 days.
