Feature Request: Delay Mouseover

I have a setup like so: Editor | Project-Viewer | Project

When I quickly move my mouse cursor across Editor to Project, the Project-Viewer menu pops opens briefly then closes.

It a setting to delay hover in ms before it opens would be nice. Alternatively, the "Panel Position" setting to "Right (last)" would also address this for my setup, but it does not seem to work for me. It does not move to the right of Project. Even in this case, the problem would persist if you set "Panel Position" to the left, then quickly move the cursor out of Atom to the left, the panel still pops open and closes.
