No longer opens apps

With Version 2.6, I could open an app as a directory. This no longer works in Version 3.1: it opens the enclosing folder.

Version 2.6 tested in High Sierra. Version 3.1 tested in Catalina. I haven't tested Version 3.0.

Thanks for a wonderful app! It's the first thing I install in a new Mac!
