Is NET-Mapnik open source? Please clarify the license. I'd love to use your work, but without a license this code is in a legal limbo that makes it hard to work with.

Maybe it could use the BSD or MIT license? The bindings you ported use this one: https://github.com/mapnik/node-mapnik/blob/master/LICENSE.txt
