@danielbachhuber, Kiwi for Gmail. Works great, never had a problem again, free for personal use. (Nativefier does work well with Google Keep, for some reason.)

I can confirm that I couldn't get this to work until I selected the full path to the brew cellar version of the binary. Pointing to a symlink isn't enough....

Glad to hear it! Won't be able to test as I've moved on from restructuredText some years ago now.
