CUG support was introduced in 6.3. Our work for other rep type nodes was done before 6.3. It just simply hasn’t been implemented. Probably not too difficult.

You should be able to use any http proxy successfully. Apache mod_proxy should work, for example. Certificate validation currently can’t be turned off. It would be a fine improvement.

It's an interesting scenario. It's likely the URIs provide the same definition for the time being. This is probably the only scenario where an optional namespace sync would bare fruit...

I think this might have been related to the issues we were having before enforcing node structure rules. @fortman have you seen this since then? Can we close this out?
