install plugin fail with "No compatible plugin found" error

I try to install the plugin via sonarqube marketplace, but I got below error msg.

Error while downloading plugin 'pmd' with version '3.3.1'. No compatible plugin found.

The sonarqube version : 7.8

Could you help for me about above error msg? Many thanks.

I wanted to bump this. I'm having the same issue on sonarqube version 7.6

I used anther version to avoid this issue.

It should work in Sonar 8.9/9.4 with sonar-pmd plugin 3.4.0. Can you try? It is not yet available from the Marketplace.
