search not showing preview

Hello guys!

I'm having a bit of trouble replicating the following behaviour, where the search text is highlighted bellow the search box:

I've replicated the project's config.py, and also the text contained in the rst file, but no highlight is shown in the search box:

Is this a known issue? I'm acessing the HTML via google chrome and file:///

This is a known limitation when using file:// but we should document it if it isn't already mentioned.

There isn't a dedicated section to talk about the this theme's search implementation (other than the brief mention in the README). This could be part of the finalizing todos for #203.
