I am not sure if this should be in the scope of Whitebox Tools but I would love to have a tool tracing forest tracks from DEM.

It could be a simpler alternative to https://github.com/azavea/raster-vision/discussions/1667

https://github.com/Jean-Romain/ALSroads (needs prior vector data and a point cloud)
https://github.com/Jean-Romain/vecnet (only need a point cloud)
