Ignores disable touchpad while typing settings

Open one2three4f opened this issue 1 year ago • 1 comments

There is a gnome setting that disables the touchpad while typing, but Mouseless ignores that. Since Mouseless uses a virtual mouse and keyboard it should be possible to implement.

The gnome disable touchpad while typing setting has the address: org.gnome.desktop.peripherals.touchpad

The problem probably is that mouseless is recognized as an external keyboard, for which this setting does not take effect.

Here I found a fix for a similar issue in keyd which also creates a virtual keyboard: https://github.com/rvaiya/keyd/issues/66#issuecomment-985983524

There you have to change the MatchName to mouseless (at least I think that should work).
