add a //JBANG 0.119+ option?

we generally are quite forward compatible but when we start adding support for exclusions and scopes things will break weirdly for some users ...made me think we probably would be well off allowing users to express minimum jbang version needed.

Like //JBANG 0.119+ and if jbang can't honor that fail with informative error message on updating to that version?

Sure.... but I predict nobody will ever use it ;-)

I think it requires too much internal JBang knowledge, that only vanishingly small percentage of our users will have, to correctly use.

Sure, but they might think it easier to tell their users: "make sure you've got the latest JBang version installed!"

Once you've noticed that you need it and you added it to your script your users probably have already updated :-D
