I haven't spoken with the current owner @lazybird of django-solo, but there are a few feature requests and pull requests in the pipeline.

Maybe they'll agree to let others help out.

django-solo would be a good addition to JazzBand. It is in decent shape and is pretty widely used. Having some extra eyes that can keep it up to date would be good. That being said, @lazybird is the owner and would need to weigh in.

Since lazybird hasn't responded to this thread, have you heard anything from him regarding this?

If not, we should create an issue ticket on django-solo repo to see his opinion on the migration.

I actively use django-solo and would be willing to support this repo within Jazzband as well.

@Archmonger I have not heard anything from @lazybird regarding this. He recently gave me admin over the GitHub project and he pushed a PyPI release, so he checks in on it from time to time.
