Enabling Github Sponsorship and other money sources

This is related to many other points, like adding more roadies and indeed gathering money to support active maintenance of heavy/complex systems like for example zappa https://github.com/zappa/Zappa/issues/1043

I think Jazzband can and must be able to raise more money to support an always growing number of tasks. You made a very good point with the deal with the PSF. However for people who can't benefit from the tax reduction (out of US), since there is no publicity, there is no "return on investment".

You probably already thought about these, but maybe you could express the state-of-the-art here:

1. Enabling Github Sponsorship. This at least has the advantage to make support visible and people proud to donate.
2. Looking for similar fiscal deals in other countries with other organizations. Would it be possible with the FSF https://my.fsfe.org/donate or is actually another (central) association for this yet to build?
