The timer panel doesn't set is_async=True yet and therefore cannot be activated in ASGI environments

I did a quick test and it seemed to me that the panel already works and no changes are necessary, but I'm not 100% sure.

@salty-ivy Feel free to ignore this but do you remember a reason why we didn't enable the timer panel from the start?
