Safari on Mac

This project is very promising! I've managed to run this with Firefox on Ubuntu.

But I'm struggling with the installation in Safari (the latest MacOS, MiniMac M1).

The links to the AppStore are not working:

It says that the "App is not available" - Currently not available in your country or region. I've tried to change the default language and country in Mac options, same issue.

The safari docs page says that I may install it using XCode, but the installation takes up ~8GB. My Mac has about 22GB free disk space and it still says that I don't have enough space to install the XCode.

Is there a chance to get it running in Safari without XCode?

Can we have a more detailed instructions for installation on Safari for non-developer users?

Does the user really need to install gigabytes of the software to get a javascript library working in the browser?
I'd imagine that in my javascript web app I can display a notice "You're using Safari on Mac which is not supported by default. Please install THIS to get it working". And the installation should be like two clicks away.

BTW, that related, two years old, issue https://github.com/jazz-soft/web-midi/issues/7 is still not resolved.
