Fetch projects data from meta repository

It is somehow wrong to waste time on entering project details over and over. Name, license, authors, bug trackers, etc. All of this was typed a dozen times for every Linux distribution at least. So in ideal world fundingoss should only add its own data fields for the projects meta data that is already exists (and synchronized) elsewhere.

You're welcome to submit improvements to automate this, but otherwise I find the current system manageable. There are less than 150 projects on here and I haven't gotten many edit requests.

As a bit of a PSA, this was a spreadsheet that turned into a website as a simple stop-gap to prevent anonymous edits/vandalism. The goal (for me at least) isn't to turn this into a highly automated product, but to have a place for people to make sure that projects needing support don't get left out of the discussion. Welcome other thoughts on this.

Fixing the huge problem of inadequate canonical identifiers for open source projects and well maintained project data referenceable from said identifiers would clearly not be commensurate with minor annoyance of a small amount of data entry for this project.

It is sort of a problem of open source meta infrastructure. In an ideal world, it would be possible to just construct a SPARQL query and get an immediate answer to what projects are widely depended on and need funding. I feel that Wikidata is the obvious place to start working on that problem for folks who want to work on it, for a very long time.
