Does the script work with white-space/newlines in the 'expected' field?

Hi, thanks for making the script available. I have noticed with xPath Helper that a lot of the results include a lot of white space and new lines. I'm wondering if I must copy these results into the 'expected' field in sites.json verbatim, or if just including the expected text without the white-space and newlines will work as expected.
