Suggested feature: Let the user apply a primitive along an edge, and along an edge-loop

These features are inspired by SketchUp, where a shape can be pushed along an edge, and also around an edge-loop.

The effect is like using a router, to create a carved edge.

If my earlier suggestion to have curves (see #12) is accepted, then this pushing along an edge or edge-loop will yield fantastic results!
