This fork is maintained more actively https://github.com/Drakansoul/DisPlace and already updated for 7.2 if you want an immediate solution.

Everyone has their own priorities and it might take a long time before this is merged.

@renoeir Where are you having issues? If you're referring to the DisPlace plugin it's working fine for me.
