Thanks for the contribution @bend. Apologise for the delay on replying! I developed this initially to support my use-case with HomeAssistant. There is a different library that supports Xiaomi devices and has been used as the default library by HomeAssistant. I'm wondering if we should switch to that one. Alternatively, find a way to merge the two project if you think there are features not supported by https://github.com/Danielhiversen/PyXiaomiGateway.
