Usually, we do not have 3-column layouts, nor do we have layouts where the first few items are omitted from a column. So while the proposal sounds fine to me, it is a bit more tricky to implement than it looks.

@vandenman Idea: Lets go with 2 columns then, the first for ordinal vars, the second for metric vars. Green are the 3 new ADs
