[Feature Request]: Add p-value/stars to plots
Description
Add p-value or asterisk to highlight significance on plots
Purpose
publish ready plots
Use-case
cf ggpubr
Is your feature request related to a problem?
no
Describe the solution you would like
ggpubr package
Describe alternatives that you have considered
ggpubr or ggstatsplot
Additional context
Dear JASP team, Although plotting skills of JASP are fascinating, it lacks of indicative p-value between groups box plots or ANOVA significance results, for instance. It could be nice to implement ggpubr nor ggstatsplot like packages in JASP Thanks Best regards G.

Thanks,

That would be SO helpful. A lot of time wasted editing plots - and it's error prone too.
I agree @mtruglio
Another request for this from the forum:
https://forum.cogsci.nl/discussion/9495/figures-in-jasp#latest
And for what it's worth, I would support, preferably. ggstatsplot because it seems to be more actively maintained and because it has a publication to go with it

would be a practical feature... looking forward for its implementation...
until such a feature is implemented officially in JASP, can I do this "manually" by entering R code in Jasp? if yes, can anyone show me how to do this for t-test and/or anova and provide a screenshot, so that I can try to reproduce it? may I ask which software (macos) you are normally using for postprocessing jasp figures, as there is no real plot editing integrated in jasp? I have no photoshop subscription and am looking for a good (opensource?) alternative for editing my jasp figures.
You can Export to pptx and add Stars in powerpoint or libreofffice
thank you. I was not aware of this possibility to ungroup objects of an exported ppt file to edit them. that is indeed very useful. Thanks so much for showing me this great possibility.
Nevertheless, may I ask: could I achieve this also by adding R code in JASP?
I do not know. Maybe some of the R-experts from the dev-team could answer this? @vandenman
a question from me as a guthub newbie and new jasp user: how do I see on github if a feature request (like this) is considered for implementation, under development etc? or is it not possible to see such a status?
All requests that are not yet closed are considered but priorities cannot be seen, sorry. Some requests like this seem to be of lower prio since its not too hard to add such stars afterwards in powerpoint.
@matyasbukva I tried to include p-values within a scatterplot via plotbuilder - this seems not yet possible or did I do something wrong? See
You have to open the component list and enter the groups you want to compare. This only works if X is a category variable. If you want a P value for a scatter plot, use annotation instead :)

Wonderful!!!
So we can close this request I guess, since jasp 0.95 is around the corner (some weeks).
