Iron Tapout Not Consistent with Closeness of Families and Pseudo Eves

I just played as Lara Kator. Town is on a newcomen pump. I go check veins, and there's only one vein right. So, I go back to the left. The 40 tile spot, iirc might have been the 80 tile spot, has stakes pointing down and left (southwest). The 80 tile spot, the 120 tile spot, and the 160 tile spot are all muddy iron veins! That's no good, and even worse since the family is white.

Hoping that the family still has iron unlock, I find a spring luckily at the 200 tile spot, and put 10 stones on it making a ready well spot. No luck as it doesn't lead to any iron unlock.

I go and follow the stakes. I find a spring with 9 stones which looks like it collapsed with like 4 grown crops, suggesting maybe someone pseudo Eved there a while back. It's in the jungle band. There does exist an iron vein fully picked ready for mining pick usage on that fault line, but it still makes no sense to have muddy iron veins on the town's fault line, and whites needing to go to the jungle band for iron. This sort of situation increases wandering around also.

Also, iron tapout keeps families apart. Having played as Eve a bunch lately, I almost always will look for a spot where I'm sure there will exist two iron veins on that fault line. It takes a whole bunch of time, and makes for a bunch of wandering around as an Eve.

We don't need iron tapout at all. It leads to buggy situations like the above, and doesn't help with the scaling issue since there's not enough resources to support a server full of players.

Same goes for water tapout and oil tapout for that matter.
