Indicate that there are todos

It would be great if the TODO icon in the sidebar would also indicate that there are todos at all. Like that you'd have an active reminder that there are tasks to take care of. This could be similar to what the validation icon does (see screenshot, purple dot next to the warning triangle).

Hi @patrickvuarnoz. Thanks for the great suggestion. This has come up in the extension developer forum and, unfortunately, Panic has yet to expose this functionality in their extension API. I will absolutely keep tabs on this issue and work to add the functionality when it is possible.

Just to update, this feature is still not available in Nova 1.4. I'm continuing to monitor additions to the Nova API.

Another update. I mentioned this to Panic again and have been told it is now filed as an API request. Once added to the API, I will add it as an extension feature.
