iTunes 10.7 spins indefinitely

I just set up a forked-daapd server on Debian squeeze. It shows up in iTunes 10.7 on OS X 10.7.5, but when I click on it, iTunes shows a spinner that never stops. It shows me none of the music the server (according to the logs) has available.

From the server logs:

[2012-11-10 13:52:09]     mdns: Successfully added mDNS services
[2012-11-10 13:52:11]     daap: DAAP request: /server-info
[2012-11-10 13:52:11]     daap: DAAP request: /login

After that, nothing else. Log level is "spam", I would hope for it to show what's going wrong, but no dice.

Can anyone help?
