Left side push menu on iPhone

Upon moving down the page, iPhone Safari minimizes its chrome height which creates a height issue with the Jasny menu when set to navmenu-fixed-left. It seems to take the open menu and shift it underneath its chrome 5 to 10 pixels. I've experienced this with other push left menus as well. However, If the menu is set to push out from the right side, all displays fine. Is there any way to remedy this effect?

On Google Chrome (on iPhone), the left side push menu works fine when placed on either side because the chrome itself is entirely there or not.
