Backward compatibility

Is version 0.13 backward compatible with version 0.8.1? Can I update version without having broken links in the code?

Hey there @adnsimona, I suggest you try upgrading, if things compile you should not have any issues with functionality of the lib. Unfortunately it has been a while between the two versions and I do not know by heart if it might break something.
