Hi, Please help me resolve this issue: "Live server is stopped".

None of my packages contain incompatible native modules but live server is still not working. Can anyone help please? Cheers!

Every time I click on start server for atom-live-server. The message displayed live server stopped. Also, I am not able to find any solution on the internet. I am a Windows-7 user.

Everything works fine on my macOS with Atom 1.20.0, what's your environment?

Just downloaded and installed Atom (1.20.0 x64) and installed atom-live-server (2.1.2) on Windows 10 Pro (Version 1511) for the first time and am having this problem as well. No other packages have been installed.

Removing the .atom-live-server.json file from by project directory has started it working for me.

Same is happening for me. Everything is up to date yet I keep getting the ''Live server is stopped'', and the atom-live-server option disappeared from the package drop down menu.

The package is incompatible with the editor...kindly restart your atom editors and your issue will be solved

What you mean by the project directory? There are no such files in my project!

Did this problem ever get resolved? I tried all the suggestions on here but none of them worked. I'm on a Lenovo Thinkpad running Linux Mint.

hey, I'm having this problem on Ubuntu 18.04. anyone solved it?

I preferred to use another editor than trying to find out what caused the error; I used ST3 for a while but it didn't convince me much, VS code has worked for me with its similar extension but there are some Atom features that don't come by default in the rest of the free editors. Now I use three or four different editors for various tasks (even for the same project) |-(
