I keep hitting Ctrl+W and closing the tab. Is there a way to remap that to deleting a word backwards, as it is in bash?

There is no way to hijack the key in the browser, unless you are using Mac.

jQuery terminal have a map for that key combo and it return false to prevent browser action but it don't work. I think it was working in some browser that's way that code is there.
