volume_level value always '0'
Hi,
the volume_level attribute under states always stays at 0. I always change the volume of the TV using the remote, I barely never use the volume_set service
thanks in advanced
@obaldius do you use an external sound device connected via HDMI ARC? I recently figured out volume_set service does not work when I have my soundbar connected via HDMI ARC. Let us know if it is the same for you.
Nope, I don't have external audio devices
same here, volume slider used to work but now doesn't control volume of tv

For volume control:
- DLNA Digital Media Renderer integration might work. If your device is compatible you'll be able to control your volume locally. It's the best bet.
- Google Cast integration, similar to the previous one.
- Smartthings keys, using the send_key command as explained in jaruba's integration (example: ST_VOL10).
- You can also try ollo69's integration, that one might work better for your TV https://github.com/ollo69/ha-samsungtv-smart
- Lastly, you might be able to change the volume of your TV through WebCore if your TV is compatible.
