[Feature] Translations
If you wish to translate Powder to a new language:
- copy the template file to a file with your countries name followed by the
.jsextension. - move this new file to the
[install-path]/src/locale/folder. - translate the contents of the file
To fix or complete an already existing translation, download the latest translation file for the language:
Testing your translation:
The [install-path]/src/locale/ folder is always scanned when Powder starts, so if you add any new file to this folder, it will appear as an option in the language settings.
It's always best to restart Powder after changing something in your translation file in order to make sure that all your changes have been loaded correctly.
Sending us your translation to be included in our releases:
If you are familiar with GitHub you can make a Pull Request with the new translation file or otherwise send it to me by email (publicly available on my profile page)
Thanks to everyone that contacted me about this and is willing to spend time for Powder Player. Your all awesome! :)

@samukets I've added all the missing text to the translation files, thank you for sharing your findings. :)
Another missing text:

Translation is "Carregando 100%"

Please change "Nada" to "Sem Legenda"
Please change "Pré-carregamento" to "Pré-Carregamento"
Please change "Nada" to "Sem Legenda"
@samukets i'm not sure if this should be changed, "None" might be used in more places in the future (if it isn't already for other settings)
good point of view...
if you want a good translation, you can't decide to use every "none" english as "none" in other langs. Maybe some cyrillo-asiatico-greek language has 975 different ways of expressing the idea of "none".
@vankasteelj the only thing I can do about it is be more specific in english.. such as using "No Subtitle" instead of "None" (in this case)
@jaruba ,
none = nada
No Subtitle = Sem Legenda
like i say before... you choose
Suggestion to future, add all english texts to one online translation platform like http://pootle.translatehouse.org/, so we can translate site, wiki, faq, powder and etc...
Spanish (Argentina) translation. Regional name should be "Español (Argentina)".
