Issue with the Arch User Repository package.

Hello, I recently installed the software off of the aur and could not find a way to get it to work. I have tried to run it with root privilege and specifying the camera input. Here is the output of the command "sudo hasciicam" / "hasciicam" (There is no difference.)

looks like the font required by aalib in live X mode is not installed, I am not sure yet what is the name of the font

I am using Endeavouros (arch) with hasciicam.

In first i got the same errors.

I installed the following. xorg-font-util xorg-fonts-100dpi xorg-fonts-75dpi xorg-fonts-alias xorg-fonts-encodings xorg-fonts-misc xorg-fonts-type1 xorg-mkfontscale xorg-xlsfonts

logout and in again. I don't know if all needed, but it worked. hope this helped.
