remove the black screen at boot

I have replaced the backround.png with my custom image and it works great. The only thing i would like to display the same image right from the beginning and not see a black blank screen at start up. Anyway to do that?

There's probably ways to make this happen with plymouth or something else, haven't looked.

If you figure it out, would love a PR!
