Can't detect profile / locked out of settings

I installed chrome and flix plus a few days ago but I can't get the extension to detect the netflix profile. In turn, I can't access the settings for the extension.

Chrome: 65.0.3325.162 OS: Ubuntu 16.04

I've tried logging out and back in, turning off test participation and switching profiles.

I thought it was an issue with Linux but it seems that is not the case because it is also happening with Windows 10.

I'm guessing this is dead then. Wish I knew anything about this kinda stuff!
