Transparency not working in Arch Linux with KDE Plasma (KWin)

I have tried

request setopacity "native" and request setopacity "xroot"

Compositor starts on boot (default KDE compositor), and other programs with transparency such as kitty, etc, work just fine specifying transparency, but Glava only gives a black screen.

Edit. Issue was that I accidentally removed the # before the line, thinking that was meant to determine if the setting was active or not (thought # meant comment in this config) Please close this issue.
