Content icon not displayed when used in a moving Valkyrien Skies ship

The drawers still work, but we don't see the icon. When the ship is dismantled, the icons are shown again.

Is this something specific to the most recent version or in general?

Just based on the nature of "moving ship" I'd not be that surprised if rendering didn't work right.

I don't really know, I just installed both mods so I don't know how previous versions worked.

Since moving ships exist in another location and are somehow shifted to the simulated position, I am not surprised that it interferes with the rendering either. I just thought I would report it, just in case.

I really like those drawers!

I think this is the same as the Create mod's contraptions. The drawers are turned into entities, and as entities they can move but don't function anymore. When turning back into blocks, they regain all their function once more. In other words, try if you can deposit or withdraw any items on the drawer while the ship is moving. I believe that wouldn't work either.

There is absolutely no way to fix this, if that is the case. Being a moving entity means it's not a block, so it may look like the block, and still has its associated data, but really is something else entirely and cannot function as usual. This is at least a known issue with Create contraptions.

The drawers still work, i can withdraw and deposit, through the controller as well. It's just the icon that doesn't show, I suppose it's because the ship is in fact the shipyard somewhere very far. I did not actually to there because I don't know how, but I bet the icons would be displayed there.

It's possible then, that they relay any interactions to the block-site. But regarding rendering, it does sound like a case of doing something significantly different with the mod than originally intended, and rendering in that regard is always very sensitive.

What version of the mod are you using, and on what modloader version?
