Compacting Drawers Broken
Greetings. I have used Storage Drawers for a long time. With the current version I have run across the first issue. The compacting drawers are not working at all. It doesnt matter if I use ore or stone they do not work. What happens is that I attempt to place a stack of say cobblestone. The image shows up in the upper box which should be the compacted version of the item not in the left lower box. If you put iron in it does the same. The bar shows up in the upper large compacted box not the lower left. The iron block does not show and neither does the nuggets. The drawer it self also with not take the items. I have tried with it locked and unlocked. It appears to only be creating a place holder. You can never input items. I have tried directly and with the storage controller. The reservation will vanish if you lock and then unlock.

Not sure what information you are looking for. I will use Iron Ingot as an example. I place a compacting drawer down. I place 9 ingots into the compacting drawer. The drawer is spit up into 3 sections. For Iron ingots the top section should show up as a block of iron. The bottom row left should show up as the ingot and the bottom right should show up as nuggets. When the iron ingot is placed the ingot takes the place of the block and nothing else is there. It does not matter if I place in the system by directly placing in a stand alone compacting drawer or if they are place in via the controller.
Which Minecraft and SD version is this? Are you running any other mods that might modify compacting recipes?

Which Minecraft and SD version is this? 1.18.2 with Forge 40.1.0. and Storage Drawers version 1.18.2-10.2.0 that is available via Forge.
Sorry, I cannot reproduce the issue with just SD installed. I can only recommend disabling other mods and turning them on one by one until you find the one that causes this interaction.
In my case bucketlib-1.18.2-0.5.3.3 broke the compacting drawer. After updating to bucketlib-1.18.2-0.5.3.4 everything works as expected.
