Batch edit taking incredibly long

I'm mass editing a byte tag in all of the chunks of a 2000x2000 world that I pregenerated for my server. I expected it to take a few seconds but its been going at it for more than 4 hours now.

I have an Intel i5-8600K @3.6GHz

The problem is that NBTExplorer simulates clicking on the GUI while searching, and the rendering of Windows widgets is very slow. Try minimizing the main window to stop rendering it before searching and you're likely to get things done in 10 minutes (but not a few seconds because NBTExploer is still doing something on the GUI).
