Any way to remove the image from the PDF?

For my uses, the purpose of OCR is to convert the picture into text. Being stuck with the picture makes it pointless. Is there a way to have it generate output PDF without including the original picture?

This is basically a feature I can build. I can't say when. But I'm pretty sure I will.
