Even after 3.12.4 the same issue persists. 
Thanks, @VirtuBox Anyway, the avif.conf was not copied to `/etc/nginx/conf.d`, I had to copy it manually after `wo stack upgrade`.

How would Varnish improve performance? I've ditched Varnish from my servers years ago. It doesn't even support SSL (you gotta install Hitch in front of Varnish), and everything Varnish does...
Despite the error message, the update occurs. You may confirm it by looking at the files in the domain `conf` directory.
Will there be a release to address this detail?
