Android FPS

Great stuff, however I'm only able to get 3FPS on Android devices. Do you think it has to do with Animation support on Android?

Strange, I only have a nexus 9 to test on. What device were you using?

@janicduplessis Nexus 6P running Android 7.0 SDK on React Native 0.42 and React 15.4. Tested both your Expo application and copying over the code (in its entirety) to my React Native project. Same laggy scroll happens.
