Search for books that are not on any shelves

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. I can't see which books are not on any shelves, making it difficult to ensure my shelves are up-to-date

Describe the solution you'd like I'd like to be able to search for items that do not have a shelf assigned

Describe alternatives you've considered

• Adding a custom shelf column on calibre server and seeing if it could connect
• Abandoning shelves and just going with categories

I'd second this request. I have a library of books and I'm trying to organise it for my family on the local net. Would be much easier to see which books are not on shelves yet.

I have a very eclectic collection of books, going from programming books to novels and non fiction

So my main library is not very browsable, and I mostly use Shelves.

Not being able to identify items that are not in shelves isn't super straightforward now,

I'll second this request too. I use shelves to manage my large collection. It works great and I've created dozens of shelves. But - how do I know if there's a book that should be on a shelf that isn't? A way to view books not yet on any shelf would solve this.

I second this request too! Also having a large collection of books and using a lot of shelves. I'd really like to be able to quickly find those books that are not in shelves yet.
